Entertaining 101 & Wine Tasting

Is it an appetizer or an hors d’oeuvre? The two words are used interchangeably, but they serve two different purposes. The short of it is…An appetizer is the first course served when seated at a table with a multi-course dinner to follow. An hors d’oeuvre is a small item served before dinner (often accompanied by cocktails) and served as a “finger food” that can be eaten while standing and mingling. This evening will be a demonstration class where Caitlin of Fit to Entertain will prepare and serve a mix of some of her favorite hors d’oeuvres, each paired with a clean-crafted wine. You will learn tips and tricks for entertaining with time to ask questions during the class. To wrap it up, you will each receive an email with what was discussed during class with pertinent links (if needed) and recipes. Class is limited to 10 people and Cost is $50/person. Dessert & Wine Pairing

This will be an evening of dessert and wine so make sure you have eaten your dinner before arriving! Caitlin from Fit to Entertain will lead you bite by bite through a delicious combination of dessert and clean crafted wine. You will find out just how versatile balsamic vinegars are! Each dessert has been hand-made using an Oli+Ve balsamic vinegar. See below for dessert with wine pairing. Class is limited to 10 and is priced at $40/person. Tapas Style Italian-themed Dinner & Wine Pairing

Caitlin from “Fit to Entertain” out of Savannah will be preparing a Tapas Style Italian themed dinner for each attendee to enjoy. You will get to follow along as she prepares each dish which will be served tapas style and paired with a clean-crafted wine. Not only will you be full of wonderful tasting foods but will leave with tidbits of information that you may not have thought about when serving family or guests. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the class and recipes for all dishes will be sent to your email to enjoy and serve at home. CLASS IS LIMITED TO 10 and Cost is $75/person. Build a Board 101 & Wine Tasting (SOLD OUT)

This has become a monthly class because of its popularity. Cheese and Charcuterie boards can be an appetizer or a meal for family and friends. They are very versatile and a lot of fun to prepare and eat. Join us this evening for a hands-on class of cheese, charcuterie, and clean-crafted wine. Learn what goes into ( and what doesn’t) the production of clean-crafted wine, while enjoying delicious cheese and charcuterie pairings. You will be led through a hands-on tutorial for assembling the perfect charcuterie grazing board, as well as a wine tasting. The tips and tricks you learn can be applied to a small board (for 1 or two) up to a large gathering. CLASS IS LIMITED TO 10 so sign up quickly. COST is $40/person (precautions will be taken in light of the lingering coronavirus.)
